Ehhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) chip

Our EOR chips are made of silicate glass with good temperature resistance, pressure resistance, chemical stability and optical transparency. They can withstand the high temperature and high pressure frequently used in EOR. Many kinds of EOR solutions can be tested on our chips including thermal recovery, gas injection, emulsification chemical development, microbiological enhanced oil production, etc.

1、Ehhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) chip

Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) chip is an applicable microfluidic experiment model with transparent channels simulating the porous media of real rocks. Physical and chemical condition of oil reservoirs can be created inside the chips. You can estimate multiple variables of your oil recovery solution on our chips easily as a cost-effective and time-saving alternative.

  • Uniform chip (GL-EOR-UN20): Network of uniform channel pattern, easy to establish computer simulation models.
  • Not-uniform chip (GL-EOR-PR20): Network of random channel pattern simulating porous media of real rock.
  • Conglomerate chip (GL-EOR-CR20): Network of channel pattern simulating porous media of conglomerate.
  • Sandstone chip (GL-EOR-SR20): Network of channel pattern simulating porous media of sandstone, cruder than conglomerate.

[1].Our chips are manufactured using wet etching for good channel surface smoothness and optical transparency. The aspect ratio of channels is limited due to this manufacturing process. Contact us for more information if you are planning to design your chips.
[2].We provide optional chip materials such as Soda-lime Glass, Borosilicate Glass and Fused Silica for custom development. Contact us for more information if you need to change the material.
